Day 01: Arrive Paro & sightseeing | Altitude: 2200 m
Upon arrival in Paro, you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel. Enjoy a sightseeing tour around Paro, visiting key landmarks such as the Rinpung Dzong and the National Museum. This day allows you to acclimatize to the altitude and explore the charming town of Paro.

Day 02: Paro – Hike to the Tiger’s Nest (Taktsang) Monastery | 7 km | Hike: 4 hours
Today, you will hike to the iconic Taktsang Monastery, also known as Tiger’s Nest. The monastery is perched on a cliffside, offering breathtaking views of the Paro Valley. This hike will help you acclimatize to the altitude as you ascend through lush forests and take in the stunning scenery.

Day 03: Paro – Jele Dzong (Start of Druk Path Trek) | 10 km | Hike: 4-5 hours | Altitude: 3560 m
After breakfast, drive to the trailhead to begin the Druk Path Trek. Your first trek will take you from Paro to Jele Dzong, passing through forests of blue pine and rhododendron. The hike offers wonderful views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. Reach Jele Dzong, a fortress that offers an excellent spot to camp for the night.

Day 04: Jele Dzong – Jangchulakha | 10 km | Hike: 3-4 hours | Altitude: 3770 m
The trek today takes you from Jele Dzong to Jangchulakha, with relatively easier terrain. Along the way, you will be treated to stunning views of the Paro Valley. Jangchulakha, with its yak herder camps, offers a perfect place to rest for the night.

Day 05: Jangchulakha – Jimilangtso | 11 km | Hike: 4 hours | Altitude: 3870 m
Today’s hike takes you to Jimilangtso, a beautiful lake known for its trout. The path is well-trodden through dense forests of rhododendron and pine. The tranquility of the lake and its surroundings makes for a peaceful and picturesque campsite.

Day 06: Jimilangtso – Simkota | 11 km | Hike: 4 hours | Altitude: 4110 m
Continue your trek from Jimilangtso to Simkota, a beautiful alpine lake. The journey is scenic, with great opportunities to spot wildlife and birds. As you ascend higher, the view of the surrounding peaks becomes more dramatic, making this another memorable day on the trek.

Day 07: Simkota – Phajoding – Thimphu (End of Druk Path Trek) | 15 km | Hike: 6-7 hours | Altitude: 2334 m
On the final day of the trek, you will descend from Simkota to Phajoding, a prominent monastery that provides an impressive view of the Thimphu Valley. From here, a long descent will take you to Thimphu, marking the end of the Druk Path Trek.

Day 08: Thimphu Sightseeing | Altitude: 2334 m
Spend a full day exploring Thimphu, Bhutan’s capital city. Visit key attractions such as the Buddha Dordenma, the Tashichho Dzong, the Folk Heritage Museum, and the Memorial Chorten. You will have time to soak in the local culture and explore the bustling markets.

Day 09: Thimphu – Punakha Sightseeing | 76 km | Drive: 2 hours | Altitude: 1242 m
Drive to Punakha, the former capital of Bhutan, and enjoy sightseeing in this picturesque town. Visit the Punakha Dzong, one of Bhutan’s most beautiful fortresses, situated at the confluence of the Pho Chhu and Mo Chhu rivers. Take a stroll through the nearby suspension bridge for a breathtaking view.

Day 10: Punakha – Wangdue Phodrang – Thimphu | 90 km | Drive: 4 hours | Altitude: 2334 m
Travel back to Thimphu, stopping in Wangdue Phodrang on the way. Visit the Wangdue Dzong and enjoy the scenic drive through the countryside, with lush valleys and rice fields. Arrive back in Thimphu for the night.

Day 11: Thimphu – Paro (Departure) | 54 km | Drive: 1 hour
On your final day, take a short drive back to Paro, where you will be transferred to the airport for your departure flight.
